Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is looking for a service-minded  Recruiting Coordinator to join our corporate Human Resources department. The  Recruiting Coordinator will partner with a team of Industry and Campus Recruiters to facilitate the movement of candidates through the recruitment process and student program. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain valuable experience in corporate recruiting.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Recruiting Season / Student Program Management
    • Registration for campus events, including payments and tracking in Salesforce
    • Job postings and advertising prior to events
    • Event follow up: coordinating with candidates (sending applications, collecting information)
    • Assist in preparation of recruiting and student events, including booking travel and ordering meals, materials, supplies, etc.
    • Assist with student program onboarding/offboarding tasks
  • Interview Scheduling:
    • Schedule candidate interviews (in-person, video, phone) in a fast-paced environment with multi-interviewer involvement; coordinate and troubleshoot last minute scheduling changes with creative problem solving
    • Utilize all methods necessary (phone, email, text) to proactively communicate with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers across the company, piecing together necessary information to develop an efficient schedule, while providing best-in-class customer service
    • Greet candidates, conduct office tours, escort candidates to their interview rooms, and monitor/ensure smooth transitions between interviewers when applicable
  • Database Management:
    • Data entry, upload, and maintenance in applicant tracking system (iCIMS) and Salesforce, ensuring candidate and student information is captured and up to date
    • Systems clean up and reporting
  • General Administration:
    • Plan recruiting team outings and events– schedule travel, meals, activities, and event space
    • Prepare expense reports
    • Assist with report and presentation creation and formatting
    • Manage recruiting Outlook inbox, in addition to personal inbox
    • Provide additional administrative assistance where needed

 

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of professional experience with experience in an administrative role strongly preferred
  • Proven proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Sense of urgency and ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing scenarios, audiences, schedules, and situations while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to expertly manage personal calendar as well as the calendars of others; logistically adept at piecing together multiple schedules to align availability for meetings and interviews while being mindful of all individuals’ time
  • Experience dealing with confidential matters
  • Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
  • Strong ability and passion for building relationships
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with students and being a champion for the company
  • Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, phone, and email correspondence
  • Ability to stay highly organized and proactively create and manage multiple daily schedules
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work responsibilities and communication
  • Self-motivated and service-minded
