Responsibilities

  • Act as second in command (SIC) of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
  • Ensure all preflight inspections are performed
  • Study weather conditions at departure, destination, enroute, and alternate airports
  • Ensure the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight, including stocking all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of passengers
  • Review aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance data
  • Use of checklists to ensure all pre-flight, inflight and post-flight tasks are completed
  • Aid in making decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate
  • Attend recurrent training in applicable type aircraft as necessary
  • Accomplish tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot
  • Report maintenance deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance in a timely manner

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field preferred
  • 1000 or more total flight hours are required
  • 500 or more PIC/Dual Given hours are required
  • Turbine Experience
  • SIC rated in CE560XL aircraft is preferred
  • Proven ability to be highly professional and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Safety focused and oriented
