Brasfield & Gorrie, a recognized leader in the construction industry, has an exciting opportunity available for an IT Jobsite Support Technician in Atlanta, Georgia. 


Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Communicate and assist Project Managers with their jobsite connectivity requirements throughout the entire lifetime of the job
  • Assist jobsites with connectivity requirements
  • Coordination of Internet connectivity for entire jobsite lifecycle
  • Frequent travel to jobsites around the country to setup and ensure connectivity
  • Order Internet connections from service providers
  • Provide Technical assistance to Project Managers, Jobsite Assistants, and Superintendents
  • Configure router, switches, and access points for jobsite connectivity
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues for jobsites
  • Help select and setup jobsite kiosks
  • Coordinate with other IT groups as needed

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or equivalent preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry preferred 
  • A+, Net+, and CCNA Certifications preferred
  • Experience with iPads, iPhones, and Microsoft Surface Tablets
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds 
  • Ability to work from lifts higher than 6 feet 
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office is required
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to self-motivate
  • Strong communication skills to work with wide variety of users
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
  • Ability to work in a strong collaborative atmosphere
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Ability to work well as a part of a team and independently
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Some travel required for this position
