Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for producing proposals, qualifications, award submittals, presentation materials and participating in various other marketing-related activities. This position supports the business development efforts, enforces corporate brand standards, and continues to grow in workload capacity and quality.

 

Responsibilities and Essential Duties: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Coordinate proposal process from early strategy through delivery, interview and debriefing of pursuit effort.
  • Assist internal departments as necessary, including organizing and preparing graphics to support the company's business development efforts.
  • Must continue to grow and produce and oversee more each year.
  • Maintain project and employee information, project photography, and employee headshots
  • Edit non-technical sections of client deliverables such as brochures, proposals, and presentations
  • Assist with regional, divisional, or departmental internal presentations
  • Inform and work with corporate communications about any PR events or milestones involving your divisions or market sector
  • Manage approval process for press materials with clients and project teams
  • Work with the graphic designer to create graphics that support pursuit strategy
  • Support the Communications team’s efforts relating to local office and community events for new and traditional media programs
  • Attend or support the efforts of annual trade shows and college recruiting efforts

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of prior marketing management experience in the AEC industry in similar capacity, or at least 2-4 years in a marketing role with Brasfield & Gorrie
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentation and other marketing related software, including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Deltek, Salesforce, Prezi, Microsoft Office Suite, and OpenAsset
  • Basic understanding of construction industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Functions effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing
  • Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines

 

Working Conditions:

  • Local and out-of-town travel may be required
  • Approximately 5% travel required
