  • Responsibilities

    • Work with Human Resources Director to determine overall direction for recruiting and student programs
    • Manage a team of recruiters responsible for creating and executing campus recruiting initiatives across Brasfield & Gorrie, empowering them to recruit the best campus talent
    • Align recruiting efforts with overall company strategic initiatives Play a key role in the mentorship and development of Campus Recruiters
    • Provide direction and set overall strategy along with recruiters for Recruiting and Student Program Advisory Committee efforts
    • Partner with Recruiters to enhance the student work experience
    • Serve as lead for campus recruiting and student program questions from recruiters and management
    • Collaborate with executive management, hiring managers and operations to provide the highest quality recruiting and working experience possible for students
    • Strengthen, build and nurture long-term relationships with universities, professors, administration, and student organizations
    • Work with recruiters to evaluate and explore new school options to meet company needs including new geographic markets
    • Perform annual evaluation of university tiering and restructure as needed
    • Research and evaluate University charitable giving opportunities  
    • Partner with recruiting team, HR leaders, and Corporate Communications to optimize marketing materials, recruiting campaigns and company branding
    • Plan and organize annual calendar and agenda for student program work terms and activities as well as the campus recruiting team’s school event calendars
    • Create and maintain reporting for student program hiring activity and capacity
    • Maintain and update student program forms and materials
    • Conduct and compile salary surveys for pay rate and living allowances and make necessary recommendations to company leadership summarizing findings
    • Lead diversity and inclusion efforts within company-wide student program

    Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree required in human resources or related field preferred
    • 6 years professional experience with 2+ years in university recruiting 
    • 2+ years of management, coaching, and development experience
    • Proven experience working successfully with geographically distributed teams preferred
    • Must have proven strategic vision to understand big picture and steer recruiting efforts accordingly
    • Excellent project and change management skills with the ability to translate vision into action
    • Agile and able to adapt quickly in response to business conditions, calm under pressure
    • Exceptional leadership and relationship skills
    • Familiarity with analyzing and deriving insights from data and using that data to make business decisions
    • Excellent customer focused communication skills both oral and written
    • Ability and willingness to travel
