  • Responsibilities

    The IT PMO group at Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst role.  This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of enterprise technology projects at Brasfield & Gorrie. This role will engage in requirements analysis and business impact analysis with internal B&G stakeholders to understand business requirements and where necessary translate those business requirements into system requirements.


    Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):

    Support the delivery of IT and enterprise projects

    Act as a liaison between management, business process owner and the IT department

    Develop and support the execution of project communication plans

    Solicit business requirements through interviews and existing systems documentation or procedures

    Ensure requirements are understood, agreed to and signed off at the appropriate early stages in a project

    Develop and support the execution of testing plans

    Troubleshoot issues quickly and appropriately

    Develop and support the execution of training plans

    Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

    1+ years of applicable work and/or technical experience

    Bachelor’s degree in MIS or other related computer field will substitute for work and/or technical experience

    Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities, resolve conflicts and be able to work well under pressure

    Ability to work independently or with team members (technical and non-technical) and customers to ensure needs and expectations are met in a timely and cost efficient manner

    Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    Excellent presentation skills as well as general negotiation and meeting facilitation skills

    Possess a desire to learn new systems and processes
