Brasfield & Gorrie is looking for a talented administrative professional to work in our Kennesaw office location.  This position will support the Virtual Design and Construction team with the following- 


  • Day-to-day administrative support for the Virtual Design and Construction department.
  • Prepare expense reports for Director and Managers
  • Make travel arrangements for business trips and conferences – airline, rental car, overnight accommodations, dinner reservations, etc.
  • Manage and maintain Outlook calendars, schedules, appointments, contacts, etc. for Director and Managers
  • Maintain shared Department calendar to coordinate employee vacation time, group events, etc.
  • Schedule meetings and training events, book conference rooms, and set up room when necessary
  • Maintain and organize office supplies needs and order new supplies when needed
  • Arrange events or conferences by reserving facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitation, etc.
  • Maintain employee time entry in JD Edwards system using correct GL codes and updating Department tracking reports in PowerBI. Output monthly reports for Director and Managers.
  • Format and proof reports, presentations, and other correspondence
  • Assist with setup of office space, supplies, computer/technology needs, etc. for new employees
  • Serve as a professional, welcoming first contact to all visitors by phone, in person, and email
  • Coordinate all details for social events throughout the year
  • Assist with special reports to management as needed
  • Maintain and monitor list of software licenses and coordinate with IT with new purchases
  • Assist in maintaining Department shared OneNote for record tracking during department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Must have practical knowledge of clerical functions such as typing, filing, answering phones
  • Experience with a construction company is not a requirement, but a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Prezi presentation software
  • Proficiency in OneNote preferred
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) or a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in graphics software (Illustrator, Prezi, Photoshop, Premiere, etc) or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new technology
  • Some IT knowledge preferred
  • Graphics skills preferred
